Description
A nice rocking chair designed by M. Nissen, manufactured by Pastoe in the Netherlands around 1950. This lovely mid-century piece has an oak wooden base in a nice brown colour. The armrests are slightly bent in the same curve as the runners (rocking base), creating an appealing harmony in the design! The seat and back have new grey fabric upholstery, which contrasts really nicely to the frame and gives it a lovely modern appeal. The piece will be a great addition to any decor and has a very comfortable seat! It remains in very good, vintage condition with new upholstery and only minor wear to the base consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
