A 1950s multiple-purpose work light fashioned from a wire-caged glass shade and brown bakelite top. It can be ceiling hung or hung by a shelf, ladder or any edge available. It can be used by in- and outdoors. Inscription NSC from Nordisk solar to the bakelite top.
