Vintage 1960s Umbrella Container Vase Made in Italy The vase is made with an aluminum structure and teak wood panels. The vase is a perfect classic example of 1950s/60s Italian design in which modern and traditional materials were combined to create both functional and elegant objects. This type of object fits into the modernism of the 60s, when Italian and Scandinavian designers and manufacturers experimented with materials such as aluminum combining them with warm woods such as teak.
