Description
A fun item, from the region of Spain called Galicia and produced by the historic brand “Sargadelos” built on the ruins of the historic ceramic factory founded in the 19th century by the Marquis of Sargadelos Antonio Raimundo Ibaez. This Vintage Apothecary Jar, dating back to the 60s and 70s, is made in the traditional two-tone white and blue glazed ceramic of Sargadelos and features, in the section dedicated to describing its contents, the painted writing “Opium”. Medicinal jars in the past contained herbs, roots, syrups, pills, ointments, spices but also substances that nowadays are categorized as drugs.
