Description
The photographer Wolfgang Khn photographed Alberto Giacometti in November 1963 in his studio in Paris in the 14th arrondissement at the address rue Hippolyte-Maindron. The appointment was arranged by the gallery owner Aim Maeght. 17 photographs were made. In 1990 copies of them were deposited in the Museum of Modern Art in New York. In 2010, the Center of International Sculpture of the Wilhelm Lehmbruck Museum Foundation organized an exhibition in which this photograph was shown. The original was taken with a Rolleicord (6×6 format), the film was the US color film Super-Ansco.
